Garlic Roasted Carrots
Ingredients:
Roast:
3
Carrots, 1 cm x 1 cm x 5 cm
60 ml
Olive Oil
Sauce:
1
Lime Juice, and Zest
50 g
Butter
10 g
Flour
20 garlic
Honey
1 clove
Garlic, crushed
4 g
Salt
5 g
Pepper, ground
1 g
Thyme, ground
Method:
Preheat oven to 190 ℃ / 375 ℉.
In a bowl add Carrots, and Oil. Toss until Carrots well covered with Oil.
On a baking sheet lined with Parchment paper, place a rack. Place Carrots on rack.
Place baking sheet in oven, bake for 35 minutes.
In a pot on medium heat, melt Butter, simmer Butter for 3 minutes, (until frothing slows). Add Flour, sauté for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add Honey, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Lemon, and Thyme, to pot, sauté for 1 minute.
Move Carrots to a bowl, then pour glaze over Carrots. Put Carrots back on baking sheet, then roast for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven, serve.
