Thoroughly wet around the equator of the Coconut. Place the Coconut in one hand with one of the three ridges facing up. With the back side of a cleaver sloidly smack the top side of the Coconut. The Coconut should split in 2 halves, if the Coconut does not split, rotate the Coconut to the next ridge and hit again. Repeat until the Coconut splits.
Using a pairing, or flooring knife, cut out the meat from the Coconut. Either grate the Coconut meat or finely chop the meat.
Place the Coconut meat in a blender with Water, blend until smooth.
In a bowl covered with muslin cloth pour in the contents of the blender. Squeeze out the liquid from the Coconut Meat, by twisting the cloth.
Put the Coconut Meat in the muslin cloth back in the blender, add the remaining Water, blend until smooth again. Using the muslin cloth squeeze out the water, discard the Coconut Meat.
