Lamb Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 KgGround Lamb
- 15 mlOlive Oil
- 1Onion, finely chopped
- 30 mlMilk
- 1Egg, extra large
- 60 gBread Crumbs
- 20 gParmesan Cheese, grated
- 2 gCumin Seed, ground
- 5 shakesTabasco Sauce
- 3 gWorcestershire Sauce
- 6 gSalt
- 3 gPepper, ground
- Sliced Cheese, 2 slices per burger
- Greek Tzatziki Sauce
- 1Tomato
- Lettuce
Method:
- In a bowl add the Lamb, Oil, Egg, Milk, Bread Crumbs, Cheese, Worcestershire, Tabasco, Cumin, Salt, and Pepper. Mix well.
- Shape 8 burgers.
- In a fry pan on medium high heat add 30 ml Olive Oil, allow pan to get hot.
- Add patties to the pan, saute for 3 minutes, flip, add Cheese, saute for 3 minutes.
- Press with a spatula and cook them for 2-3 minutes on each side. As soon as you flip them over, add 2 slices of Cheese onto each burger.
- Serve with Tzatziki, Lettuce and Tomato.
