Preheat oven to 180 ℃ / 350 ℉. Line a 24 cm x 34 cm baking dish with parchment paper.
Base:
- In a food processor, add Flour, Splenda, Baking Powder, and Salt. Pulse processor for 5 seconds, until well combined. Add Butter, pulse food processor for 3 5 second intervals. Add Vanilla, and Eggs, pulse for 2 5 second intervals, (until fine crumbs form).
Pour in 450 g (2/3rds) of the Crumb mixture and press firmly into the baking dish.
- Apples:
- Place Apples in a bowl, add Lime, toss to mix. Add Salt, toss to mix. Add Splenda, and Cinnamon, toss until Apples well coated. Cover bowl, set aside for 2 hours.
Pour Juices into a blender used to make Sauce.
- Sauce:
- In the blender add, Water, and Gelatin. Blend 30 seconds, until mixture is smooth. Place Sauce in a pot on medium heat, bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, simmer 5 minutes. Add Cornstarch, stir constantly until Sauce thickens.
Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, add Apples, and Sauce. Mix until Apples are evenly coated. Pour Apple mixture into baking dish, and then top with remaining Crumbs. Bake for 60 minutes. Let cool and then serve.
