Pork and Celery Stir Fry
Ingredients:
- Marinade:
- 600 gPork, thinly sliced 3 mm strips
- 4 gBaking Soda
- 3 gSalt
- 5 gPepper
- 30 mlSoy Sauce
- 1Egg
- 15 mlWhite Wine
- 24 gCornstarch
- 10 stalksCelery, 1 cm strips by 8 cm long
- 1Red Pepper, 2 cm, squares
- 1Green Pepper, 2 cm, squares
- 2Red Finger Chili, finely chopped
- 10 clovesGarlic, halved
- 7 gCelery Seed
- 6 gSalt
- 3 gPepper, ground
- 60 mlSunflower Oil
Method:
- Marinade Pork with Salt, Pepper, Baking Soda, Soy Sauce, Wine, Cornstarch, and Egg. Set aside for 20 minutes.
- In a wok on medium high heat, add Oil, allow to get hot. Add the Pork in small batches, keep pieces of Pork separated. Fry Pork for 60 second, turn then fry for 40 seconds. Remove the Pork, and set aside.
- Add Celery, Salt, and Pepper to the wok, fry for 3 minutes. Add Chili, Green, and Red Peppers, fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in Celery Seed, and Garlic, fry for 1 minute.
- Transfer the Pork back to the wok. Stir everything together. That’s it. You are done. It is so simple.
