Beef Lo Mein Recipe
Ingredients:
- Marinade:
- 600 gramsBeef, (Sirloin, or Blade), cut into 0.3 cm thick by 5 cm strips
- 15 mlCanola Oil
- 6 mlSesame Oil
- 15 mlSoy Sauce
- 60 mlRed Wine
- 4 gSalt
- 2 gBaking Soda
- 10 gCornstarch
- Note: Marinade for minimum of 20 minutes
- Sauce:
- 45 mlSoy Sauce
- 15 mlDark Soy Sauce
- 100 gOyster Sauce
- 5 gPepper
- 45 mlCanola Oil
- 4 gSalt
- 2Onions, sliced thinly
- 6Scallion, cut into 4 cm long pieces
- 600 gEgg Noodles, boiled 4 minutes in Salted Water
Method:
- In a wok on medium high heat, add Oil, allow to get hot. Add in the Beef, saute for 60 seconds, flip, saute for another 60 seconds. Add in the Onions, and Scallions. Saute for 1 minute.
- Add in the Sauce, allow to come to a boil. Turn off heat to the wok, then add Noodles. Mix to combine.
- Serve
