Bacon Cheddar and Spinach Strata
Ingredients:
- 500 gBread, Italian, cubed
- 12Eggs, large
- 625 mlCream, heavy
- 500 gBacon, finely cubed
- 500 gSpinach, wilted, and squeezed dry
- 340 gCheese, Cheddar, grated
- 1/4 nutNutmeg, grated
- 9 gSalt
- 3 gGarlic Plus
- 1 gCayenne Pepper
- 3 gPepper, ground
Method:
- Preheat oven to 175 ℃ / 350 ℉.
- In a bowl add Eggs, Nutmeg, Salt, Pepper, Cayenne, Garlic Plus, Cream. Mix thoroughly. Mix in with Bread cubes.
- Fry Bacon until crisp.
- In a baking dish put 1/2 Bread cubes. Then spread 1/2 the Cheese over Bread. Next sprinkle Bacon over Cheese. Spread Spinach over the Bacon. Add the rest of the Bread over the Spinach.
- Let sit for at least 1 hour.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
