Maple Fish Sauce Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 500 gBrussels Sprouts, cut in half
- 10 mlFish Sauce
- 25 mlMaple Syrup
- 3 gPepper, ground
- 3 gSalt
- Fried Garlic:
- 5 clovesGarlic, thinly sliced
- 80 mlCanola Oil
Method:
- Fried Garlic:
- In a small skillet on medium heat, add Oil, allow to get hot. Add Garlic, there should be enough Oil to just cover the Garlic; if not, add more Oil.
- Fry Garlic, for 3 minutes, stirring frequently, (until golden, and the bubbling has reduced).
- Strain Garlic through sieve, then place Garlic on a paper towel lined plate to absorb excess oil. Keep the Oil for coating the Brussels Sprouts.
- Brussels Sprouts:
- Preheat oven to 250 ℃ / 475 ℉.
- In a bowl, add Brussels Sprouts, Salt, and Pepper. Toss to evenly distribute. Add Oil from the Garlic, toss to evenly coat Brussels Sprouts.
- On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, place a rack. Place Brussels Sprouts on the rack. Roast Brussels Sprouts for 15 minutes.
- Place Brussels Sprouts in a bowl, add Fish Sauce, Maple Syrup, toss well to thoroughly coat all pieces with the Sauce.
